What Leaves Your Device

Most text expanders encrypt your snippets on their own servers and hold the keys, so the vens. Makro is built so that it cannot:

• Free tier: all data stays on your device, encrypted at rest. No ads, no third-party analyt
• Cloud sync uses zero-knowledge encryption (AES-256-GCM) - our servers never receive your encryption keys and cannot read your macros. Only devices with your key can decrypt them.
