Firefox Multi-Account Containers by Firefox

by Job, 7 years ago2 years ago (5 stars): Game changing App. Has been the reason I have switched back from Chrome to Firefox.
11 July 2020 (1 star): What have you done? Which use case / UI designer did this? Utterly rediculous. I now have to multi-click navigate menus to open a new container. Why was this a good idea? You could at least have allowed CTRL+Click to open a new tab/container without going into an additional menu. I moved from Chrome because of this extension - I will move back if this doesn't get fixed in a matter of days.
Note to developers: This is a "convenience" add on, try not to make it less convenient!
Issues that need fixing:
+ Sync is inconsistent - needed to turn on/off to get to work?
+ Can't manually order containers in list.
+ Order of containers in list is not maintained from machine to machine on sync.
+ Assigning shortcut keys is broken - doesn't reassign the keys.
+ Assigning shortcut keys is broken - Assigning new keys after sync - only allows two keys to be assigned > then page refresh for additional 2 keys, etc.
Roll this update back, then if you want to do something useful - get it working with startup pages properly. e.g. so that I can open multiple Gmail accounts in different containers as startup pages and I dont have to open them all individually. Also it would be useful if the containers could be sorted into a custom order (rather than just order they were added), e.g. drag and drop to sort containers in list.
16 July 2020 (5 Star): Thanks for sorting single click container open - back to being convenient again now. Remaining issues need fixing and some of the additional features would be nice.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Simon, 8 days agoThis extension is all I needed.
Major issue I faced is it fails to open the specific bookmarks in the designated containers.
Other is opening tab by keyboard shortcut is limited to only ten containers. If there is a functionality to increase that then this addon would be great. - Rated 5 out of 5by Pavel, 9 days ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by NOCOMMERCIALINTEREST, 16 days agogood for getting around jerk moderators who block you cuz you don't give the same opinions they have sites like:city-data and other jerk run sites run by morons. Have to keep checking allow permissions to delete container data. Easy to make a mistake and send in non-container if you're not careful. Mozilla wants you to add their VPN to the containers but their VPN gets such poor reviews no need. slow to load up.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19548448, 16 days agoCannot use the containers without giving a rating so you get one star. Nagging is a shitty tactic.
Edit: A review is not enough. Are you actually forcing people to post on facebook and twitter to gain access to this extension? - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 19548434, 16 days agothe review nag is annoying, but the feature is great and works well
