NetsuShelf Privacy Policy

NetsuShelf is a browser extension that converts supported web novels and story pages into offline reading exports such as EPUB, HTML, PDF, and TXT.

NetsuShelf handles data only when the user chooses to use the extension on a page.

This may include:
- The URL of the current page and linked chapter URLs on the selected site
- The text, metadata, and images needed to build the export
- Site cookies when required by the selected site to fetch chapters or images
- Local settings, parser preferences, and optional library entries saved by the user

This information is used only to provide the requested extension features, including:
- Analyzing the current story page
- Building an export from selected chapters
- Saving the generated file to the user's device
- Saving optional preferences and local library entries in the browser
- Looking up optional metadata or reference information requested by the user

NetsuShelf does not collect or sell personal identity data such as name, email address, postal address, or payment information.

NetsuShelf does not operate a developer-controlled backend that receives story content, chapter lists, library data, or generated export files.

Network requests made by NetsuShelf are direct browser requests to the story site selected by the user or to optional metadata/reference sources explicitly requested by the user.

Some features store local data in the browser so the extension can work as expected later. This may include parser settings, export settings, optional reading list entries, and optional local library data. This data remains in the browser unless the user removes it, clears extension storage, or uninstalls the extension.

NetsuShelf does not use user data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated analytics.
