About this extension

Nextdoor Moderator Assistant intercepts the moderation feed in real time and sends flagged post content to your configured LLM (OpenAI or Anthropic) for independent analysis.

Features:
- AI Review — one-click analysis of flagged posts against Nextdoor's official moderation guidelines, with a clear Keep / Maybe Remove / Remove recommendation and reasoning
- Post Panel — expandable side panel with full thread preview and AI chat on any open post
- Widget — floating toolbar for quick access to AI Review, Post Panel, and Mod History
- Model attribution — every recommendation shows which model and provider generated it

Setup: Add your OpenAI or Anthropic API key in the extension popup. Keys are stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to anyone other than your chosen LLM provider.

Privacy: The extension sends post content to your configured API only when you explicitly trigger analysis. The developer receives no data. See the GitHub repo for full source code.
