This extension connects Firefox to Password Depot — the award-winning password manager developed in Germany since 1998. It is not a standalone tool: it communicates with the Password Depot desktop client via secure Native Messaging to auto-fill credentials, passkeys, and TOTP codes directly from your encrypted database.

⚠️ Requirements

This extension requires Password Depot v19.0.4 or newer.
The native client must be installed before the extension can function.

Note for users of Password Depot versions prior to 19:
This extension uses a new client API and cannot connect to older Password Depot clients. If you are using Password Depot 18 or earlier, please install extension version 18.0.3 instead:
