Keeps your preferred YouTube playback settings after logging out or clearing your browser's cookies.
This extension allows you to choose:
By default, the extension turns off video previews, turns off always-on captions, prefers 1440p video, and keeps the YouTube player in "Cinema" mode.
When you change the quality setting, the extension also tries to update the video that is already playing. If that quality is not available for the current video, YouTube will choose the closest available option. If you have YouTube Premium and choose 1080p as your preferred quality, YouTube will automatically use "1080p Enhanced Bitrate".
This extension allows you to choose:

- whether captions should always be shown
- which video quality YouTube should prefer
