by Firefox user 15122436, 7 years agoDespite the slew of other reviewers demonizing the Firefox Devs, it is abundantly clear that their issues are user errors not dev errors. :e: Turns out there is an error, but that doesn't rescind the fact that the prior reviewers are still dicks about it :)
I just installed the app, have used it perfectly fine.
I am logged into a single Pinterest account, and am running no other add-ons. As a note, I run very stringent privacy options and restrictions on both my device and Firefox, and I'm still not plagued with any issues.
Thank you Firefox Devs for being patient and doing your best, this is working great for me and my design work!
:e: I don't see a way to respond to the dev response below, so I'm editing it in.
I am running container tabs, but specifically I only had a Facebook container tab open at that time. To my knowledge I didn't have anything else actively running in a container tab, except for the Facebook one.
:e: I now got the login error myself, here's a capture of the error message & the error log text:

I was currently logged into Pinterest on a Tab, and I Reloaded the tab and still had the error. I was attempting to pin an image from Unsplash when I encountered the error.

Developer response
posted 7 years agoThanks for speaking up, but we do have a bug that's proving very hard to replicate. (In our logs we can see the effects on a very small number of daily users, so we're sure it's not user error.) Since you're not seeing trouble, would you mind helping us rule some things out? I see you're only using one Pinterest account and no other add-ons. Can you please tell us if you're using Container Tabs?
Thanks very much for your kind support.

- Rated 4 out of 5by minnie :3, 2 months agoReally amazing and convenient, however there are two bugs have made the user experience a little bit frustrating at times.
1. The script will inject this iframe making everything on the web page unclickable and it won't go away on it's own sometimes. At first I thought Firefox was freezing, so I'd have to reload my tab, until I inspected the DOM elements and saw this being injected by the extension into the HTML.my work around for now is using a script to remove it if it's detected:
iframe style="background: transparent!important;border: none!important;color-scheme: none!important;display: block!important;position: fixed!important;height: 100%!important;width: 100%!important;top: 0!important;right: 0!important;bottom: 0!important;left: 0!important;margin: 0!important;clip: auto!important;opacity: 1!important;padding: 0!important;z-index: 9223372036854775807"/iframe
2. Sometimes when I hover over the save button, it turns my entire tab white, and I have to reload the page to get rid of it. I haven't inspected the DOM yet to see what is being injected when this happens - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19497885, 5 months ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18909546, a year agoawful. it slows down your browser because it has to load on every page, and appears on every image whether you want it to or not. if you view image heavy sites, that's a lot of processing power. then when you do save, the pin may be deleted, a whole board can be removed, and/or your entire account may be banned for guideline violations, which are handled by ai. you only get one appeal, but they can do double jeopardy and change their decision, ie reinstate a pin, but then go back and flag your account a second time on the same pin. they usually don't reinstate pins, and the metric is very kneejerk. i had 5+ pins of a video game character flagged because he had bare shoulders. i had an entire board removed for discussing things like mental illness. when you reach out to them, they don't respond, and users have found that support email addresses listed on pinterest send a message stating it's no longer in use. people with decade old accounts have been banned over it. half of my screen when i'm on pinterest at any given time is ads. i recommend checking reddit.com/r/Pinterest/ to really see the actual user experience, and how much pinterest doesn't reward user loyalty
