- Rated 5 out of 5by Sygatzi, 2 days agoDoes what it's supposed to, but I don't know if its the extension, or Firefox, or my phone, but every time a video ends (like if I'm listening to a playlist) I either have to spam the play/pause button in the live notification, or go back into Firefox and then the next video will load. Any ideas on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

posted a day agoThanks for the nice review! The behavior you're describing is almost always a Firefox/Android permissions issue rather than the add-on itself.
Try changing these settings if they are available:
1. In Firefox → Site Settings, set "Autoplay" option to "Allow audio and video."
2. Long-press the Firefox app icon → App Info, and ensure Firefox has the "Music and audio" permission.
3. If you have a system or third party lock screen media player, make sure any autoplay settings are enabled.

I read this us due to changes by youtube to enforce premium only for paid users. I tried " video background play fix" after someone recommended and it did work some of the time. But so far this has worked the best. can you also m,aybe add a feature to block the "are you still listening" box? thanks

Yes, as noted in the update on our listing page, YouTube has recently become more aggressive about blocking background playback on both Android and desktop. The add-on already handles most of the new techniques YouTube is using, so it's great to hear it's working well for you.
Regarding your feature request, we're currently testing version 0.5.0. In addition to including additional protections against YouTube's recent changes, it also adds the feature you requested: a new "Stop Video Pause" feature that automatically dismisses the "Still watching?" and "Video paused. Continue watching?" prompts on YouTube and YouTube Music. We expect to release it soon, so please watch for the update. I use Second Sidebar for Firefox (check GitHub), and I pin YouTube Music as a web panel. I'm normally forced to use desktop view which sucks because of the small space. But if I use mobile view, playback always stops. This addon worked like magic and YT Music hasn't stopped once since I installed it.
