About this extension
Give every Firefox Container its own proxy route, request headers, and host access rules.

Privacy Containers turns one Firefox window into a controlled workspace for web security testing, intercepting proxy workflows, and multiple authenticated accounts.
  • Route each container directly or through reusable HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS proxies.
  • Use remote DNS, HTTP/HTTPS proxy authentication, localhost bypasses, and per-proxy exceptions when needed.
  • Add global or per-container request headers, including the PwnFox-compatible X-PwnFox-Color header.
  • Keep target hosts inside approved containers with Host Rules, then reopen blocked links in the right context.
  • Open, reopen, move, and pin tabs with configurable keyboard shortcuts.
  • Clear cookies and page storage directly from the toolbar.

Route one client session through Burp Suite, Caido, OWASP ZAP, or another intercepting proxy; keep a second account direct; and leave everyday browsing untouched.

No account, telemetry, cloud service, or remotely loaded code. Settings stay in Firefox, and traffic uses only the proxies you configure.
Developer comments
Privacy Containers requires desktop Firefox 142 or later with Firefox Containers enabled.

Configuration is stored locally in Firefox. The extension does not collect or transmit data and does not use remote code or cloud services. Traffic uses only the proxies you configure.
