Privacy Possum is a great alternative for Privacy Badger, but it's not fully replace it, Privacy Badger have a function to clean out the tracking link on Facebook and have an ability to replace any social media button on a website to prevent it from tracking you, mean while: Privacy Possum can block website referer and prevent fingerprinting, install both add-on is safe, one may not be too careful.

this hasn't been maintained in a while, meanwhile many sites are broken while using it. I've switched back to privacy badger and reported this add on for breaking sites.
