PTQI - PeerTube Quick Import
A Firefox extension that imports videos from any web page into your PeerTube server. Press a keyboard shortcut or click the toolbar icon to queue the current page for import.
Usage
The extension extracts the video source from the page and sends it to your PeerTube server's import endpoint. The server downloads and processes it.

Map alternative front-ends back to their original domains so the import finds the video:
Add these in the Domain Aliases tab. The extension rewrites the target URL's hostname before sending it to PeerTube.

Usage
- Open Settings (right-click toolbar icon or popup → Open Settings)
- Connection tab - Enter your PeerTube server domain, verify, then authenticate with your username and password
- Select a default channel for imports
- Browse to a page with a video (YouTube, Reddit, Twitter, direct .mp4, etc.)
- Press
Alt+Shift+Uor click the toolbar icon → "Import Current Page"

- Server URL - Your PeerTube instance domain
- Authentication - Username/password (OAuth2 password grant)
- Default Channel - Where imported videos land
