About this extension
Push to qBittorrent lets you send magnet links and .torrent file URLs to a locally running qBittorrent
instance without leaving your browser.
Right-click menu — always available on any link or selected text. Works on magnet URIs, .torrent file
links, and Jackett/Prowlarr download links.
Click interception (optional, off by default) — when enabled, clicking a recognised torrent link sends it
straight to qBittorrent instead of opening your system torrent client or triggering a browser download. An
optional HEAD request check can also detect torrent files served without a .torrent extension in the URL.
Configurable
- qBittorrent WebUI URL, username, and password
- Add torrents in paused state
- Default category (must already exist in qBittorrent)
- Override save path
- Desktop notifications on success
Private tracker support — .torrent files are fetched by the extension using your browser session cookies,
then uploaded to qBittorrent as a file. This means private tracker authentication is preserved without
exposing your cookies to qBittorrent.
No data leaves your browser except to your own configured qBittorrent instance. No external servers, no
analytics, no tracking.
Requires qBittorrent 4.1 or later with the Web UI enabled.
