What the extension does with your data
• Codes are made in your browser. A code contains exactly what you typed and never points at a NeoReader server, so we never see who scans it.
• Scanning happens in your browser. When you scan the page, an area or an image, the picture is decoded locally and then discarded.
• Link safety checks use rules built into the extension. Nothing is looked up online.
• Logos you save with a style are kept in the extension's storage on this device.
• Scan history is off by default. If you switch it on, up to 200 recent scans are kept on this device only. Switching it off deletes them.
• The "Design" button opens neoreader.com with your content in the part of the address after "#", which browsers do not send to the server. The website's own privacy policy applies there.
• The extension reads the current tab only when you click its button, use its menu or press its shortcut (the activeTab permission).

Data we collect
None. The extension sends no analytics, telemetry, codes, images or page data to us.
