QR Tracker & Generator Privacy Policy

QR Tracker & Generator does not collect, store, or share any personal data from users.

The extension functions entirely within your browser. It reads only the URL and title of the active tab when you click the QR Tracker icon, to generate a QR code for that specific page.

If you choose to connect your QRTracker.io account by entering your personal API token, the extension will make secure HTTPS requests only to:
https://api.qrtracker.io
This is used solely to create or update QR codes in your own account. Your API token and settings are stored locally in your browser using the WebExtension storage API and are never transmitted anywhere else.

The extension does not:
- Collect or track browsing history
- Send analytics or usage data
- Display ads or sell data to third parties

Third-party code:
This add-on includes the open-source "qrcode-generator" library by Kazuhiko Arase (MIT license), used locally for QR creation.
