About this extension
Quick Page Helper adds a focused, one-click action for the moments when you simply need to visually scan all links or leave yourself a tiny reminder before you move on. Click the toolbar button, optionally type a short note, and press Highlight links. The extension outlines every link on the current page and, if you provided a note, shows it briefly in the corner and then gets out of your way. The highlight color is adjustable on the Options page, so it can match your personal workflow or accessibility needs.
This add-on is intentionally minimal. It requests only two permissions: activeTab (so it can act on the page you’re viewing after you click) and storage (to remember your preferred color). It does not fetch remote code, does not use eval, and avoids inline scripts. All DOM updates are done safely with textContent, and there is no persistent background data collection. If you ever need to turn it off for a site, simply don’t click the button—no automatic injections are performed.
