About this extension
Quick Tab Saver stores the title and URL of your current tab in a local list so you can copy or export them whenever you need. It avoids unnecessary permissions, works offline, and lets you optionally capture highlighted text from the page with a click. Your list stays on your device.
Open the popup and press “Save current tab” to add the active tab’s title and link. Use “Save tab + selection” to include any text you’ve highlighted on the page. You can copy the entire list to the clipboard or export it as JSON from Options. A “Avoid duplicates” option keeps the list clean by URL so repeated saves only refresh the latest entry.
The extension uses the standard WebExtensions storage.local API; no data leaves your browser. It does not inject scripts automatically, does not track history, and works only when you click its buttons.
