1. Introduction & Core Privacy Principle
QuickFiller is an open-source, 100% local-first browser extension designed to assist job applicants with form autofill, screening question drafting, and application tracking.

Our Core Privacy Principle:
QuickFiller operates 100% locally on your computer. We do not own, operate, or maintain any backend servers that collect, store, or process your personal data. Your resume, profile, job applications, and API keys remain


strictly under your control.

2. What Information We Handle
All data handled by QuickFiller is stored exclusively in your browser's private local storage (chrome.storage.local):
- Candidate Profile: Name, email, phone, location, LinkedIn/GitHub URLs, and skills extracted from your resume or manually input.
- Job Application Data: Company name, job title, submission date, and application portal links.
- Custom Answers & Snippets: Text snippets saved for repetitive application questions.
- AI Configuration: User-provided API keys (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) or local endpoint settings (Ollama).

3. Data Storage & Security
- Isolated Browser Storage: All data is stored in the browser's extension sandbox and is inaccessible to web pages.
- Zero Remote Telemetry: QuickFiller contains zero analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or tracking beacons.
- Zero Developer Backend: No data is ever sent to any QuickFiller developer server.

4. AI Services & Data Transmission
- Local AI (Ollama): Runs 100% offline at http://localhost:11434. Zero data leaves your computer.
- Cloud AI (BYOK - Bring Your Own Key): Only if you explicitly enter an API key for OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini, prompts containing relevant job descriptions and candidate profile details are sent directly to that


provider's official API when you click to generate an answer.

5. Data Deletion
All your data is stored locally. You can modify or delete your information at any time from the extension Options page. Uninstalling the extension permanently deletes all stored data immediately.
