About this extension
RetractCheck helps you spot retracted or corrected research while you browse. It automatically detects DOIs on supported publisher sites and looks up matching records in the Retraction Watch database. It highlights retractions, expressions of concern, and related notices with links. Lets you “check anyway” on unsupported sites. This project is open source (MIT license) and aims to support researchers by making Retraction Watch data easier to access.
Attribution - RetractCheck uses the Retraction Watch database as a primary data source. We’re grateful for their work documenting corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions. RetractCheck is an independent, open-source project and does not represent Retraction Watch.
