Revision Weather is a local writing studio that treats revision history as a first-class part of the draft. It records compact text operations—where language was inserted or removed—rather than replacing the entire document history with periodic copies. From that operation log it reconstructs any earlier moment and calculates readable signals: pressure for revision intensity, drift from the opening vocabulary, calm for recent stability, and returns to previously edited regions.

The atmospheric map is redrawn on a canvas from the current metrics without rebuilding the editor DOM. Isobars, revision cells, and a pressure center change as the document changes. A field note translates the measurements into a concise observation without pretending to predict writing quality.

The replay slider reconstructs each revision step while protecting the historical view from accidental editing. LIVE returns to the present draft. Preserve front stores a named branch with its text and operation position; the branch list compares its vocabulary with the current draft and can restore it as a new revision. Users may export clean text or a JSON file containing the draft and formation history.

Revision Weather works entirely offline. It has no account, server, analytics, advertisements, remote code, or network behavior. A sample draft creates a genuine three-step operation history and preserved branch for exploration.
