What the extension sends to Scan.Tours (api.scan.tours), only when you act: the search text you type; when you press "Compare this page", the page title, the product/attraction name from the page's structured data, the place name and the website hostname, used once to find the matching experience and not stored beyond standard request logs; your display currency and language with each request.

Stored only in your browser: currency, language, the analytics setting, and the ids/titles of experiences you saved or recently compared (bounded, clearable in Settings, removed on uninstall).

Optional usage analytics (OFF by default, Firefox 'technical and interaction data' opt-in): which features you use, currency/language chosen, a random per-install session id. Never page URLs, never browsing history.

Not collected: browsing history, cookies, form data, page content beyond the fields above, location, account data (there is no account). When you press View deal, the handoff goes through Scan.Tours' own /go link (click recorded without a user identifier) to the provider; Scan.Tours may earn a commission. No third-party code or trackers run in the extension.
