Schema Preview version history - 4 versions
  • Be careful with old versions! These versions are displayed for testing and reference purposes. You should always use the latest version of an add-on.

  • Latest version

    Version 1.1.2

    Released Oct 2, 2026 - 440.74 KB
Works with firefox 128.0 and later
    • Chrome: the background service worker crashed on startup, so detected data never reached the popup (it showed "no structured data"), and the toolbar badge and health icon never updated. Firefox was unaffected. The build now runs the service worker without a DOM and fails if it doesn't start.
    • Social tab: the Facebook/LinkedIn and X card previews and the page meta panel now live in their own popup tab. The tab shows a warning count when share tags are missing.

    Version 1.1.1

    Released Oct 2, 2026 - 432.95 KB
Works with firefox 128.0 and later
    What's new in 1.1.1

    • Social preview: see how your page looks when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn and X, right next to the Google search preview.
    • Share-image checks: shows the real size of og:image and twitter:image, and warns when an image is too small or fails to load.
    • Missing-tag hints for og:title, og:description, og:image, og:url and twitter:card.
    • Smarter toolbar icon: it now changes colour with the page's structured data. Lime means it looks good, amber means it could be better, red means it has errors, and dimmed means none was found. Hover for a quick summary.
    • New popup header showing the current site and its verdict.
    • Fresh look: new icon and colours in the ddcode style, in both dark and light themes.
    • The Google search preview now also appears on pages without structured data.
    • Relative and alternative share-image tags (og:image:secure_url, og:image:url, twitter:image:src) are now recognised.

  • Version 1.1.0

    Released Oct 2, 2026 - 406.84 KB
Works with firefox 128.0 and later
    What's new

    • Social preview: see how your page will look when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, and X, right next to the Google search preview.
    • X cards follow the page's twitter:card setting (large image or summary) and use the Open Graph value for any Twitter tag that isn't set, just like X does.
    • Share-image checks: shows the real size of og:image and twitter:image, and warns when an image is below the recommended size (1200×630 for Facebook, 300×157 for X) or fails to load.
    • Missing-tag hints: lists any missing og:title, og:description, og:image, og:url, or twitter:card.
    • Relative image paths and alternative image tags (og:image:secure_url, og:image:url, twitter:image:src) are now picked up.
    • The Google search preview now also appears on pages that have no structured data, using the page's meta tags.
