Seiyuu Privacy Policy

When you pause an episode on Crunchyroll, Seiyuu reads the page's show and episode title and sends it to the Seiyuu backend to look up the cast and voice actors.

Data collected:
- Show and episode activity: the Crunchyroll title you look up is sent to our backend to return cast data and may appear in server logs.
- Email address: if you subscribe to Pro, your email is collected via our payment processor (Stripe) and stored to manage your subscription and let you restore Pro on a new device.
- Anonymous usage ID: a random, non-identifying value stored on your device counts your monthly premium unlocks and recognizes an active Pro subscription. It is not tied to your identity.

We do not require a login for the free tier, show ads, use third-party analytics, sell data, or access or capture any video.
