What data Shelf stores
Shelf stores the following information locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API:
- Tab URLs and titles of tabs you archive
- Favicon URLs for display purposes
- Your settings (auto-archive timer, maximum stored tabs, excluded domains, theme preference)
- Basic usage counts (total tabs shelved, total tabs restored)
Where your data is stored
All data is stored locally on your device using
chrome.storage.local. Nothing is sent to any server, database, or third party.Data collection
Shelf does not collect, transmit, or share any user data. There are no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry, and no user accounts.
Third-party access
No third party has access to any data stored by Shelf.
Data deletion
You can delete all stored data at any time by clicking "clear all" within the extension, or by uninstalling the extension from Chrome.
