Most useful Tab Manager ever, Keep it alive please!

FF 108 - STG v4.7.2.1

This addon is a replacement for the old abandoned Tab Groups.

The addon works correctly overall.
Its only remaining issues currently are:
- bookmark auto backups. They're a bit messy.. use the hourly file option instead.
- if you open a 2nd window and close the first one, then you'll have to restore from a temp backup.

Its best features for me are the groups manager panel and the quick tab search.

Btw the extension stopped receiving updates 1 year ago. Hopefully it won't break at some point...

OLD VERSIONS

FF v73.0.1 x64 - STG v4.4.25

So far, this version seems to works correctly.
However, there isn't still a "restore from bookmarks" manual button and I haven't dared to try again the "secondary window" problem mentioned below.

FF v69.01 x64 - STG v4.0.62
[..] Sadly it has various problems, like:
- if you close your main window before any secondary one, all your tabs order and pins will be lost! (bug)
- it saves backups periodically but.. it cannot restore from bookmarks! There's only an option from file.
- also, it doesn't clean old sessions.. I had to delete like 2K obsolete bookmarks still there.
- it doesn't save the setting to NOT use a folder for backups. Luckly the bookmark location is ok.
For the rest this extensions works, but it needs an update asap.

Отличный аддон на новый ФФ! А возможно сделать, чтобы после закрытия вкладки НЕ переключалось на другую группу? И по alt-tab тоже. Ужасно бесит, ты альтабнулся и уже другая группа загружается.

If you are switching from Chrome and looking for an alternative to TOBY, this is the one.
I think this should be the first extension that anyone should install as soon as they switch to Firefox.

Excellent. Only reason it doesn't have a 5-star is because not sure how to allow Firefox Sync to also sync this extension. That would be killer!

Update (Aug 6, 2019): Not sure if it's a new release but my tab groups keep getting deleted! Please help.

It does follow the footsteps of Tab Groups of old pretty well. However, when I try to import a Tab Groups backup file, it doesn't do anything. Does anyone know of a solution? If this problem can be solved, the rating will definitely go up!

Overly complicated! When I open a tab group, and then close one of the tabs, that tab is PERMANENTLY removed from the group! WTF? If I wanted to remove it from the group I would have said so! I JUST wanted to close it!

this is by far one of the best addons on here! finally I can bring some order into my forest of open tabs...

Extensions already have Load-Next-Group, Load-Prev-Group shortcuts, but no Load-Last_Active-Group shortcuts.

Load-Last_Active-Group shortcut is the most frequently used shortcut. But not now.

It is hoped that developers will see this evaluation.
