posted 7 years agoIf you do not want to send selected text to Google in the background, please change the settings as one of the following:
- Turn on "Don't display button or panel"
- Turn on "Display translation button" and Turn off "Do not display the button if translation is not required"
When "Do not display the button if translation is not required" is turned on, the selected text will be sent to Google to get the language.

The last 1.5 year it's basically useless. 50% of the time I try to translate something, it gives VERY wrong translation (not just wrong). And that's IF it manages to do so. about 30% of the time it doesn't even translate, just outputs the same text that I gave it.
