SiteMind AI is a browser extension that processes web page content locally in your browser and sends selected data to a third-party AI service to generate responses.



1. Data Collection & Storage

We do not collect, store, or sell personal data.

• API Key: Your Groq API key is stored locally on your device using browser storage and is never transmitted to SiteMind AI servers.
• Website Content: Text selected or extracted from webpages is processed in real time and sent directly to the AI provider for analysis. It is not stored by SiteMind AI.
• Conversation Data: AI interactions are not logged, saved, or tracked by SiteMind AI.

2. Third-Party Services

SiteMind AI sends requests directly from your browser to Groq’s API.
Your use of the extension is also subject to Groq’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We do not control how Groq processes or retains data.



3. Permissions Used

• activeTab: Used to access content of the active tab when you trigger the extension.
• storage: Used to store your API key locally on your device.
• scripting: Used to extract page content for AI processing when requested.

4. User Control

You can delete your API key at any time via the extension settings or uninstalling the extension. This permanently removes all locally stored data.
