Smart M3U8 Sniffer and Video Downloader by DJS

Smart M3U8 Sniffer and Video Downloader is designed for users who need to download videos from websites where streaming URLs are hidden, obfuscated, or dynamically generated.

Unlike generic downloaders, this extension works directly at the network level. It silently monitors all traffic on the current page and automatically detects HLS (.m3u8) manifests — even when they’re disguised with fake extensions or loaded via JavaScript players.

SIMPLE MODE (Intercept & Inspect)
If a site exposes a standard M3U8 playlist, the extension lets you:
- View the full manifest content
- Copy the M3U8 URL or its raw text
- Download the entire video by fetching all segments directly

ADVANCED MODE (Real-Time Capture)
For complex or protected streams, where direct segment access is obfuscated or blocked, the extension uses a smarter approach:
- It activates real-time interception as soon as playback starts
- It captures every video segment as it’s loaded by the browser player
- It reconstructs the full video without re-downloading anything
- It bypasses common anti-bot measures (like tokenized URLs or referer checks) because it relies solely on data already being fetched by your browser
⚠️ Note: You must play the video to the end in "Advanced" mode to allow a complete capture of the video.
