- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14546632, 4 years agoVery useful, but the only negative is that it breaks some functionality of my bank's website, so I have to disable the addon whenever I need to enter in a date search criteria on my bank's website.
A blacklist function (sites not to run the extension on) would be VERY helpful. - Rated 5 out of 5by Pjtak, 4 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by BladeMaker, 4 years agoDoes not work, I tested using this website and my timezone is still not changing https://z0ccc.github.io/LocateJS/
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14179921, 4 years agoIt works very well. But you have to disable the entire module if you want to temporarily disable/enable it.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14528670, 4 years agoWorks on the surface, but there are other more aggressive means that bypass the add-on and get the system time of your computer.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Artem S. Tashkinov, 5 years agoTime zones must be reported as hours:minutes, not as minutes as it's absolutely inconvenient.
The add-on button doesn't allow to access its settings which is super inconvenient as you have to make a dozen of clicks to reach it.
Exceptions are a must.
In a disable state it becomes pretty much invisible with my panel background ( https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/linen-light ) - please fix. - Rated 5 out of 5by CatcherInTheDeep, 5 years agoHaving the settings saved after browser restart would be fantastic. But really this app is the only solution i've found

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16413205, 5 years agoIt does not work at all. Switched to "Custom Timezone Offset" which is working perfectly.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Tim McCormack, 5 years agoCaused date pickers to break in really weird ways. Possibly related to having set privacy.resistFingerprinting=true.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 9771322, 5 years agoНе понятно как работает, то работает, то нет.
It is not clear how it works, then it works, then it doesn't. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 12186101, 5 years agoHas always worked well, but since this morning, he has made it impossible to use subtitles on You-tube.
Also, the permissions this addon has, are too far-reaching for the function it is supposed to perform. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16228521, 5 years agoStopped working. System time does not auto change based on IP anymore.

- Rated 2 out of 5by hosa, 6 years agoI do not understand the option "automatically update timezone based on my ip address"
Isnt the whole reason of this addon is to NOT give out real timezone/location? so if im connected directly it will not spoof? but when im connected through a proxy it will update timezone based on the proxy?
You should explain more clearly in the extension description about how it works and the options it provides...
