Privacy policy for Tab Drawers
Tab Drawers keeps your data on your own devices and under your own control.
There is no developer-operated server, and the developer never receives any of
your data.
What the extension stores
- Drawer data: the title, color, and the list of tab URLs/titles for each
drawer you create. - Settings: your preferences (switching mode and display options).
- Per-tab membership: which open tab belongs to which drawer, tracked via
Firefox'ssessionsAPI on your device.
Where it is stored
- Drawer data and settings are stored using Firefox's
storage.syncAPI. If you
are signed in to a Firefox Account with Sync enabled, Firefox synchronizes
this data across your devices. This synchronization is operated by Mozilla and
is end-to-end encrypted by Firefox Sync; the developer has no access to it. - If you are not signed in to a Firefox Account, the data stays only on your
local device. - Per-tab membership and the active-drawer-per-window state are stored locally
and are never synced.
What is NOT collected
- No analytics, telemetry, tracking, or advertising.
- No data is transmitted to the developer or to any third party.
- The extension makes no network requests of its own.
Permissions
The extension requests
tabs, tabHide, storage, sessions, and menussolely to organize, show, and hide your tabs and to persist your drawers. See
the README for what each permission is used for.
