TabStash collects your open tabs into a single, searchable page so you can close them without losing them — then restore any of them with one click.

The extension can be connected to a Python tool to save the list locally. The list is loaded into the extension if it is empty.

In any case, the tool is not required for the extension to function, as the extension is standalone. If the tool is not connected to the extension, a red indicator will appear on the extension’s icon. If it is connected, the indicator will turn green.

Everything stays on your device. The stash is written to local storage encrypted with AES‑256‑GCM (Web Crypto), never as plaintext on disk. There are no accounts, no servers, and no tracking — the add‑on makes no network requests of its own.
