This section describes what the Taki Translate browser extension transmits. The rest of this policy applies to it as well.

• Images you choose to translate. When you hover over an image and click Translate, or use the context menu, that image is sent to the Taki Translate API (api-dev.takitranslate.com) to be processed. Nothing is sent for images you do not act on.
• Account credentials. When you sign in, your email and password (or your Google sign-in) are sent to the Taki Translate API to authenticate you. The resulting session token is stored locally in the browser.
• Settings. Your language and translation preferences are stored locally in the browser and sent with each translation request.
• What is not collected. The extension does not read, collect or transmit the text of the pages you visit, form data, or your browsing history. The address of the page is used only to download the image from the site that hosts it, and is not sent to Taki Translate.

• To make purchases within Taki Translate, the user may enter credit or debit card details.
• Taki Translate does not store or have direct access to full card details.
• Payments are processed through secure third-party payment platforms that comply with current security standards.
• Taki Translate only receives basic transaction information, such as payment confirmation, date, and amount.

The collected information is used to:

• Provide translation and editing services.
• Process payments and enable premium features or in-app purchases.
• Manage user accounts.

• Content uploaded by the user is used exclusively to provide the requested service.
• User content is not shared or sold.
• Original content and its translations are stored securely on our servers to allow you to access your history and continue editing. Certain temporary processing files are automatically deleted after a short period. You can delete your content permanently at any time.

Taki Translate does not share personal data, except in the following cases:

• Payment and technology service providers necessary for app operation.
• Compliance with legal obligations or judicial requirements.
• Hosting or infrastructure services, under confidentiality agreements.

• We adopt technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data.
• However, the user acknowledges that no system is completely infallible.

The application and website may use cookies or similar technologies to improve user experience and analyze service usage.


The user has the right to:

• Access their personal data.
• Request correction or deletion.
• Request account deletion.

Requests are made through official contact channels.

• The service is not directed at children under 13.
• If information from a minor is detected without legal guardian consent, it will be deleted.

• Taki Translate may modify this Privacy Policy at any time.
• Modifications become effective upon publication in the application or website.

In case of discrepancy between the translated versions of this Privacy Policy and the Spanish version, the Spanish version shall prevail.
