    Released May 24, 2026 - 82.65 KB
Works with firefox 91.0 and later
Initial release of Tetherweb — a developer tool that connects Firefox to Claude Code via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

    What it does:
    • 30+ MCP tools: DOM interaction, screenshots, network capture, cookie access, tab management
    • Native OS-level click support via cliclick
    • On-demand HTTP traffic capture including request/response bodies
    • HttpOnly cookie read/write for auth debugging
    • WebSocket message capture
    • Explicit consent gate — all commands blocked until user completes onboarding

No cloud or third-party servers. The extension only communicates with a locally-running process over localhost.
