Latest version
Version 2.5.2
Released Oct 27, 2025 - 179.55 KBWorks with firefox 126.0 and later🆕 What’s New in Version 2.5.2?
Trump Eraser just got a major performance upgrade!
We rebuilt our page-scanning engine from the ground up so it now plays nicely with even the busiest sites — looking at you, Facebook 👀. Replacements happen just as thoroughly as before, but they’re now smarter, lighter, and faster than ever.
Highlights
⚡ Smoother browsing everywhere
Our new replacement engine breaks big jobs into micro-tasks, so pages never freeze while text is being replaced.
You’ll feel it most on Facebook, Threads, and other infinite-scroll sites.
🧠 Smarter about your clicks
The extension now automatically pauses its background work while you type, click, or interact with the page, then quietly resumes when you’re done.
🚀 Faster filtering
We added a little magic to give you noticeably snappier loads on long feeds.
🧩 Facebook fix
If you noticed a “click-and-wait” delay on the Facebook post composer, whoops - that was our fault, sorry! The dialog now opens quickly while Trump Eraser waits its turn politely in the background.
Under the hood
- Works equally well in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox (no manual changes required).
- Still privacy-first: no tracking, no external calls, no logging — ever.
- Same circus, MUCH funnier clown, and now ... better manners!!Source code released under All Rights Reserved
