Muster (the extension) is a read-only companion to your own Muster monitoring console. It connects only to the console you configure — your own server — and never to UnveilTech or any third party.

What is stored, and where: your console URL, your read-only API token, and a few interface preferences are stored locally in your browser only. They are never transmitted anywhere except to your own console, as the Authorization for its read requests.

What is sent, and to whom: requests go only to your configured console. When you use the lookup lens or the “mstr” address-bar keyword, the IP or domain you look up is sent to your console for its verdict. If you turn on the optional “Warn me when I visit an attacker site” feature, the hostname of the page you are on is sent to your console to be checked (never the full URL, never page content, and only while that option is enabled).

What is NOT done: no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, no advertising, no data sold or shared. The developer collects nothing. The extension has no endpoint of its own.
