Utiq Detector is privacy-first.

WHAT THE EXTENSION DOES — LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE
To tell you whether the current site uses Utiq, the extension inspects the page locally in your browser (scripts, the window.Utiq object, localStorage/cookie entries, DOM selectors, footer text, and read-only network observation). None of this analysis is ever transmitted. Nothing about the pages you visit, your history, your cookies or any identifier leaves your device.

WHAT WE NEVER COLLECT
No full URLs, no paths, no page titles, no browsing history, no cookies, no Utiq identifiers, no personal data, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs. We never sell or share data.

THE ONLY DATA THAT LEAVES YOUR BROWSER
1) Every 6 hours the extension downloads a public reference list (sites.json) from utiq-tracker.online. This is a standard HTTPS request; our origin server keeps no access logs for it.
2) Only if you explicitly click “Report this site”, the extension sends a single request containing only: the bare domain (e.g. example.com), the technical detection reason, and the extension version. Your IP address is never stored; it is used transiently only for rate limiting.
