Privacy policy for UX Recorder

This agreement establishes the rules of user’s data collection and processing who launches (installs the related computer or mobile application) computer software Usability Test Recorder (hereinafter referred to as “the program”) which exclusive right holder is Limited Liability Company “Usability Factory” (hereinafter referred to as “Right holder).
Installing this software I (hereinafter referred to as “the User”) am notified and agree that the program collects and stores the User’s data (except personal data) provided during the program usage. Personal data is not collected and processed. In accordance with existing Russian Federation legislation collected data is not personal data.
The Right holder is not limited in the methods of data processing and technical tools for such processing. Providing the Right holder with any data (User IP, anonymous ID, device and screen settings, software specifications, mapping data on the user’s screen, user’s record of website links, user’s navigation behavior, provided data when using the program) the User expresses his/her consent to data collection, systematization, accumulation, storage, update, verification, usage, blocking, deleting and other activities in accordance with existing legislation without limitation of consent validity.
The Right holder does not share and make data accessible to any third parties without the user’s consent. The only exception is data transfer within cooperation between the user and the eligible counterparty that aims at the collection of user’s data after completion of a special task. The Right holder takes sufficient organizational and technical measures to protect the obtained information from illegal or accidental access to it, its verification, deleting, changing, blocking, copying, sharing and other illegal actions of third parties.
Collected data:
- IP
- personal anonymous ID (generated for each user during the first login to the test),
- android ID or IOS ID devices (for mobile tests),
- reference parameters of the test,
- ОS version,
- browser version,
- screen size,
- link and conversion tracking,
- page download time breakdown,
- maximum scroll depth (%)
- screenshots (2 shots per second),
- click and cursor movement coordinates,
- webcam video and voice (if you this function is enabled),
- screen video (for “desktop” tests),
- test answers,
- pre-configured JS events (like Google Analytics) in "event:value" format.
Videos and screenshots are sent in files. The rest of parameters are sent in textual form (JSON).
Personal data is not collected.
