Vantavue keeps you updated with the latest weather conditions without cluttering your browser. Access live weather, accurate forecasts, and air quality data for up to 5 of your favorite cities with just one click.

⚙️ Setup & API Key Requirement

Important: To ensure reliability, fast loading, and to respect API rate limits, Vantavue requires a free OpenWeatherMap API key to function.

How to set it up:
1. Create a free account at OpenWeatherMap.
2. Generate your personal API key (it activates within ~2 hours).
3. Open Vantavue, click ⚙ Manage cities, and paste your key.

🔒 Privacy First

Your data stays with you. All cities, settings, and cached weather data are stored locally on your device using browser.storage.local. Vantavue only communicates with the OpenWeatherMap API to fetch your weather data.
