I've been using VeePN for a couple of months now as my go-to VPN in Firefox. It connects quickly and hasn't noticeably slowed my browsing, which was a problem with other free extensions. I mainly use it to access region-blocked articles for research, and it works consistently for that. The interface is clean and doesn't get in the way. While I haven't needed advanced features, for basic privacy and bypassing simple geo-blocks, VeePN has been perfectly reliable and hassle-free.
