YouTube ads, your choice
• Four modes in the settings: do nothing (shipped this way, no trace for YouTube), mute, hide, or skip.
• "Hide" places a veil of the add-on over the player, with a countdown, while the ad plays normally; a click on the veil removes it.
• Muting now goes through the tab: the player sees nothing.
• "Skip" means a click the site can recognise, and the menu says so.
• If YouTube shows its warning, the add-on stands down on its own for an hour — insisting would turn the warning into a block.
• The former fast-forward option is gone: it was the only one guaranteed to leave a recognisable pattern.
• No network rule applies to YouTube's pages, and the resume marker is no longer inserted into its player.

New
• An overview page: videos tracked, estimated hours, the last twelve weeks, most visited sites, series in progress.
• Series are recognised — one line per series, "mark the previous ones as watched" in one go, and the next episode offered at the credits.
• Optional: sync your history across devices through your browser account, with no server or account of ours. Unticking removes the synced data.
• Mark an episode as watched without watching it, and undo it with the position kept intact.
• A search box in the history, by title or by site, once it grows past a dozen entries.
• Under the site name, the panel says what happens to the video — tracked, already watched, preview (not remembered), too short, or none detected — and shows the installed version.
• Two keyboard shortcuts, configurable in the browser: go back to the last stop, mark the video as watched. The stop marker is clickable.
• A "night" mode for the sound limiter that lifts dialogue instead of only taming peaks; the ceiling now eases down.

Fixes
• On YouTube, the thumbnail that starts playing on hover created a "YouTube" entry, or one named after the search, and its position ended up applied to the next thumbnail. Only a watch page is remembered now.
• On sites where every episode shares one address, they shared one position too. Each has its own now.
• A position is no longer applied to a video of a different length.
• A quality label in the stream name (720p, 1080) lost the position when quality changed.
• Ad filtering, now on by default, was not on for earlier installs.
• A video watched on a set-aside site, or with the add-on off, still left an entry there.
• A live stream joined at the edge is no longer called "watched", and rewatching counts every view.
• The "block nothing here" exception now also applies when the click lands inside the frame of a player hosted elsewhere, and takes effect without reloading.

Privacy unchanged: no data leaves your device unless you turn sync on yourself.

This release substantially expands the add-on.

Watched videos
• Videos watched to the end are no longer forgotten: they join a “watched” history with the date and view count.
• Episode lists and thumbnails carry a “✓ seen” tag or the stop position, before you even click.
• A discreet card reminds you where you stopped when a video opens.

More reliable resume
• The end of a YouTube ad no longer erases the saved position.
• Changing quality no longer loses the position mid-playback.
• If the player resets playback after loading, the position is re-applied.
• On streaming sites the video is attached to the site’s page, not the player’s address, so the menu link reopens the episode.

Browsing comfort
• New: YouTube ads are skipped as soon as the player allows it, without doing anything YouTube could recognise: no network rule on its pages, no function replaced there, and ads that cannot be skipped simply play out in silence.
• Extra option, off by default: run those ads through eight times faster.
• New: ad tabs that open on the slightest click are blocked, while your real links keep working.
• Clicking “play” no longer authorises a jump to another site — that is exactly how streaming sites slipped their ad tab in. Sign-in and payment windows still open.
• A link wrapping the player no longer opens anything: the click goes to the video, as intended. Recommendation thumbnails stay clickable.
• A click inside the player’s frame no longer authorises the hosting page to open a tab elsewhere — the last door left open, and the most used.
• When an opening is refused, a card says so and offers, in one button, to stop blocking anything on this site.
• Hidden trap links in the page are disarmed.
• Ads inside the page are filtered too, discreetly; the option can be turned off.

Sound
• New: a limiter tames overly loud passages without muffling dialogue, with an adjustable maximum level.

Everyday comfort
• Playback speed is remembered per site: set once on a course site, it is restored for every video.
• Audio files are tracked like videos: podcasts, catch-up radio.
• The rewind on resume grows with the elapsed time — five seconds after a break, more after three weeks.
• A stop marker now appears on any player, not just YouTube.
