VideoControl by jeoh

Provides a simple toolkit for controlling HTML5 video playback on any website:
- adjust playback speed (0.05× to 128×)
- customize step values for speed changes and forward/backward seeking
- take screenshots of the active video and copy them directly to the clipboard
- fully customizable hotkeys for all actions

The extension maintains a playback speed value per website and automatically applies it to all videos on that domain. Changes are reflected immediately and persist across tabs, making it convenient for use cases like playlists or multiple videos on the same site.

Permissions:

"storage" - used to save user settings and per-site playback speeds
"clipboardWrite" - used to copy screenshots directly to the clipboard
"tabs" - used to identify the active tab and send messages to its content script for controlling video playback and screenshots

The extension only interacts with the active tab and does not access inactive tabs or collect browsing history. The tabs permission is used instead of activeTab to support continuous synchronization between the UI and the active video.

This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from its user.
