How the browser extension handles your browsing

The extension only works in Chrome and Firefox and asks for the "tabs" and
"storage" permissions and access to our own servers at api.viteresearch.com.

• It reads the page you are on so it can place a highlight where you selected
  text. When you click Save to Library it sends the page's address, title
  and code to our servers so a copy can be kept for you.
• When you open the sidebar on a page, it sends that page's address to our
  servers to look up your highlights for it and to tell you whether the
  page is already in your Library. It sends nothing about pages where you
  don't open the sidebar.
• Quick capture sends the text you type and any attachment you add.
• It does not read your browsing for any other purpose, and we do not sell
  or share browsing data with advertisers.
