posted 4 years agoThanks a lot for this nice comment! Glad you like this extension. Have a nice day.- Rated 5 out of 5by Biapy, 4 years agoWallabagger is a great extension that help making the most of a Wallabag instance. Once the initial setup done (which needs Wallabag login & password plus an API client ID & secret Key from your Wallabag instance), the extension works seamlessly.
Wallabagger has a great UI, and is very easy to use. A must have for all Wallabag users.Developer response

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13502145, 5 years agoI am a hobbyist in computation, but not clumsy, an d I still spent 30 minutes setting up the addon. Some comments
1. the link on how to set it up takes to google-chrome, which is not the best. Within that doc the link in "First of all you have to create a new client on your wallabag installation. How to do that is described in Documentation" is not working. Anyhow, I managed to do the client.
2. While setting up the addon preferences (nice that it takes you there when error in import) I didnt know what to write in wallabag url. I assume this option is necessary for self-hosted (I have no idea), but when I tried at first the default app.wallabag.it it wasn't checking Ok. I spent all the time up and down your documentation to find the app url, assuming it was related to client; stupid me I even tested the one in your example "v2.wallabag.org", and I think that finally restarting firefox changed something in cache or whatever that captured the default url as a correct one.
3. A Youtube/vimeo video would be helpful. - Rated 5 out of 5by frost, 6 years ago

posted 6 years agoHello there,
Can you tell us what we should do to make it better please? - Rated 4 out of 5by Baptiste Mille-Mathias, 6 years agoGreat functionalities
Some features I'd like to see
* tag suggestions taken from the page tag when it has its own tags
* more responsive for tagging completion (it seems to be a bit slow to fetch them)
* when wallabag is unable to parse the article, the extension should notify wallabag developer on behalf of user. - Rated 5 out of 5by Stranger46, 6 years agoGreat alternative to Pocket. I bought their own instance for 9€ / year, great deal!
To use it, and also to solve the problems about "not working with latest Firefox" etc., you simply need to go your wallabag website, and Create a new Client (in "API clients management"). That's all. It will solve any problem with "not saving" also.
Good job devs! - Rated 5 out of 5by Simon, 7 years ago
