rsations. WhatsApp Masker blurs every message in the open chat — text, stickers, voice notes and media alike — and reveals a message only while y
our cursor is over it.

How it works

• Every message bubble in the current chat is blurred by default.
• Hover over a message to instantly reveal it; move away and it blurs again.
• A small "Mask: ON / OFF" button in the bottom-right corner lets you disable or re-enable the effect with one click.
• Your choice is remembered between sessions.

Privacy first — by design

• 100% local: the extension is a few lines of CSS and JavaScript that run only on web.whatsapp.com.
• No data collection, no analytics, no tracking.
• No network requests — nothing ever leaves your browser.
• No permissions beyond running on WhatsApp Web.
