WordySpot: English Vocabulary Finder by WordySpotDeveloper

Learn English vocabulary from the pages you already read. WordySpot highlights words you may want to learn, shows definitions and pronunciation on request, and saves selected words to your WordySpot lists. A WordySpot account is required to connect the extension.

WHO THIS IS FOR
Intermediate and advanced English learners who want to build vocabulary through real reading. Suggestions reflect your vocabulary settings and saved words. Words you mark as known stop being highlighted.

HOW IT WORKS
• Scan visible English text on supported web pages. Hidden text, closed disclosures, and text marked unavailable to readers are excluded.
• Click a highlighted word for its definition. Press the audio button to request pronunciation.
• Save selected words to your lists and synchronize them with your WordySpot account.
• Use Rescan page when content changes. Large pages have processing limits; partial results are clearly labeled.
• Browse the bundled dictionary by spelling, popularity rank, or first letter.

YOUR SETTINGS
Choose the reading panel position, highlight duration, and light or dark theme. Control where WordySpot runs with allowed-site and ignored-site rules and test those rules in settings.

PRIVACY
Visible page text and automatic candidate-word checks are processed locally. Full page text, page URLs, and browsing history are not uploaded. A selected word is sent when you request its definition, request pronunciation, or save it. Pronunciation requests omit cookies and the page address. Account connection information, lists, saved words, settings, and site rules you enter synchronize with WordySpot. The extension does not run in private browsing. GETTING STARTED
Install the extension, open https://wordyspot.com/extension, and sign in to connect your account. Then open a normal web page containing English prose.
