    Release Notes - xselect2copy v1.0.1

    Fixed
    • Consistent behavior across all text selection areas: Selecting text in input fields and textareas now properly requires the CTRL key (or configured modifier) to trigger auto-copy, matching the behavior on regular page content.

    Changes
    • Added detection for text selections inside <input> and <textarea> elements
    • Unified modifier key requirement across all text selection contexts
    • Added clipboardWrite permission for improved browser compatibility

The extension now works consistently everywhere - hold CTRL (or your configured modifier) while selecting text to auto-copy, whether on a webpage or inside form fields.
