About this extension
Features
- Toggle on/off, or exclude specific sites entirely
- Switch reading display between hiragana, katakana, or romaji
- Click any word to mark it "known" — furigana stops showing for that word everywhere, going forward
- Save words you encounter, with their sentence and source page, into a personal vocabulary list — exportable as TSV for Anki
- A page-difficulty estimate that becomes personalized to your actual vocabulary once you've marked ~10+ words known
Privacy: Tokenization runs entirely in-browser (via kuromoji.js) — no page text is ever sent anywhere. All data stays in local browser storage.
Word definitions use JMdict (EDRDG), used under their licence. Kanji difficulty data from kanji-data (MIT).
