1. Private by Design & 100% Local Execution
   Your Privacy audits network requests, detects trackers, and calculates privacy scores strictly inside the browser on your local device. By default, zero telemetry, zero browsing history, and zero user data are stored or transmitted off your device.
2. No Personal Data Collection
   We do not collect names, email addresses, IP addresses, credentials, cookies, device fingerprints, or account information.
3. Permissions Justification
4. webRequest & host_permissions: Used in a read-only manner to analyze third-party domains, advertising beacons, and tracking scripts initiated by the page to compute the site's privacy score locally.
5. storage: Used strictly to store local preferences (theme, opt-in toggles) and weekly domain hash keys for local report deduplication.
6. Voluntary Opt-In Telemetry (Community Defense)
   Only if explicitly enabled by the user, anonymous public domain scores and aggregate tracker counts are contributed to the Bookcicle Privacy Index (max 1 report/domain/week). Ingesting servers drop client IP addresses immediately. No personal browsing trails or session identifiers are ever recorded.
