It is customiseable, you can select what you want removed. It even offers Darkmode for its menu - I love it! Some bad reviews are just because people are unable to click on the extension and select the option sliders they want - it is that easy.
By default the playlist sidebar is hidden, I recommend turning that of!
I think the extension is essentiel and happily donated a whole 4 $ - Rated 5 out of 5by Achi, a year ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Defrayer, a year agoVastly improves the YouTube experience by allowing for extensive customization just for your needs. I really don't want to see any non-subscription recommendations, which this extension helped me accomplish.

- Rated 5 out of 5by mint chip, a year agoa little over the top by default with how much it takes out, but it's extremely easy to configure and takes a lot of the unwanted stuff out of youtube. config works with sync seamlessly on firefox. would recommend to get rid of stuff you don't wanna see. only complaint is redirecting home to subscription feed takes a couple seconds most of the time.
