by Firefox user 17041911, a month agoGood extension. Sadly the theater mode height broke yesterday for me, hopefully can be fixed soon! It goes down lower than it should and the % doesn't seem to change anything anymore.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Greg Bomkamp, 6 hours agoReally excellent extension!! This is the fourth extension that I've tried for enhancing YouTube and I really like this one.
I would love see configuration to make full-screen scrollable where in full-screen, you can scroll down to see the comments/other videos (instead of the 'other video suggestions')
Thank you so much for this extension!!
Edit: I originally had the following issues in my review, but im pretty certain this is a "me" issue with something breaking it on my end, not an actual issue with this extension. I'm leaving it below for posterity's-sake but i dont think its the extension at fault:
~~For the developer, I've noticed a few tiny issues that may/may not be known (and could also be something on my end):
1. For some reason, clicking on the video-space doesn't pause/unpause/fullscreen on double click/etc., I can only click on the interface buttons themselves
2. I have 'Right Click + Scroll Wheel' enabled for changing volume but holding the Right Click doesn't prevent the page from scrolling (see attached pastebin)~~
I'm very grateful for the Custom CSS/JS sections, I've added some small custom tweaks for resolving #2 and making the 'Back to Top' button better for myself. If you're interested: pastebin/BaVNLpssDeveloper response
posted 4 hours agoHey Greg, thanks for taking the time to write this, but I can't replicate the issues #1 and #2.
What OS do you use? Does issue #1 only happens when the scroll volume feature is enabled? Did you try leaving only YT Tweaks enabled?

posted a day agoThanks! This is because of a recent YouTube change. It'll be fixed by the next update after it's approved in 1 week or so. - Rated 5 out of 5by zynthio, 2 days ago

One thing I'd love to see is a way to make theater mode on by default when opening a video. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18989911, a month ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17756326, a month agoworks great, but recently there has been a clipping issue on the home page, where videos on the right hand side are cut off by a small margin making the drop down menu (:...) to add to playlists or hide videos becomes a little more difficult...turning off the extension fixes it...also have the items per row setting in video grid turned off....
Edit- found the setting responsible...enabling 'fix misaligned videos' in the video grid section or 'dim watched videos' on the homepage section seems to trigger the issue...Developer response
posted a month agoCan you find which setting is causing it by disabling one by one? Write to my email if possible ([email protected]). Thanks. - Rated 5 out of 5by Ernie, a month agoWhat a great extension (the best there is) and thank you so much for repairing the Theater Mode issue.
- Rated 4 out of 5by iBoonie, a month agoGreat replacement for Enhancer.
One bug, when you hide live/past broadcasts, it will leave gaps in the grid.
Also since its MIT, why not host on github so people can contribute?Developer response
posted a month ago1. Yes, that can happen. That's because the option just hides them, it does not replace them with normal videos (not possible to do, unfortunately).
2. No particular reason, I might do that in the future. - Rated 5 out of 5by NXH, a month agoBetter than YT Enhancer & YT Search Fixer combined!🥳
Hope you find a fix for hiding Clip/Thanks/Share buttons soon because that doesn't work right now (they simply get pushed into the (...) menu next to the like/dislike buttons instead)Developer response
posted a month agoNext version will fix this. Thanks for letting me know. They changed their icons recently, which caused those options to stop working. - Rated 4 out of 5by Shouphanya, a month agoI've always liked YouTube tweaks. Recently, however, I've had the problem that when I'm in theater mode, the video is no longer contained within the screen but continues below it. Since I have the pop-out feature enabled for when I scroll down a bit, this is doubly annoying. This has probably been happening since the last update, so for about a week.
Also, what I've also noticed is that when I go to a channel and click on shorts (which I have hidden, no idea why it's still displayed), everything bugs out. The page has to be reloaded.

Cant send links with a video and image...
Is there a way to contact u? Or a github page?Developer response
posted a month agoAre you using the 'Theater mode: Player height' feature? YouTube made an update recently that broke it, but I think I fixed it in latest version (2025.11.12), can you update the extension and confirm?
About second issue, are you talking about the channel banner flickering? If so, it's a long-time YouTube bug. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16999263, a month ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by fuck google, a month agoshitty pointless youtube update completely broke theater mode, I hope the option to change the height can be fixed soon. Other than that this extension is amazing and fixes a lot of their extremely stupid design choices.
