by Johann, 3 years agoThis used to be the best add-on for downloading any video from youtube. It took a while to download, but there was nothing wrong with the video in the end, and it had no watermark or QR code or the like. But for months now it has not worked. At best, it will download the audio and video files, but it will not combine the two to give you the video you wanted to download from youtube. In short, this add-on does absolutely nothing now.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15223049, 6 months agoSince YouTube decided to make even more money in spring 2025, and therefore pulled the strings in their content delivery system very tight, this tool doesn't work anymore.
It would need an update to again become one of the best YouTube downloaders out there, because that's what it was. Also it was one of the most versatile tools.
Once it got 5 stars from me using a different account, currently only one star because you can't vote zero stars.
